Hi there and welcome to Stone Science! My name is Bryan and my flooring experience began in concrete foundation work in 2006, continuing with restoring marble and setting tile for the past 10 years. Over time, I've become extremely passionate about two things. First and foremost is the customer experience and helping customers regain trust in the trades by having a pleasurable experience when dealing with my company and me. Clients often don't know if they are hiring someone who understands flooring code, can deliver a floor that isn't hollow, or knows how to correctly identify and service their natural stone.

My other passion is restoring natural stone to its former glory rather than ripping it out replacing it with man made material. Homeowners spend a lot of time and money designing their home. It's absolutely heartbreaking to me to then get the call that their pavers were sealed with the wrong sealer, their marble is hazy from poor restoration or most shockingly, their brand-new tile floor has hollow voids all over the place. Sealer and marble are an easy fix but the hollow floors have been a recurrent problem with no quick solution. That is why I invented my patent pending hollow/loose floor injection tool. Formerly you could inject small tubes of adhesive into a floor by hand. Which was great for one tile, but many of these faulty installs cover thousands of square feet of hollow tile.

After attending several courses at the Ceramic Tile Education Foundation (CTEF) I started really understanding why so many floors fail, and how prevalent this problem really is in the tile industry. With little to no oversight or regulation, there really isn't much recourse for a homeowner until now. Instead of ripping out an entire floor you can hire a contractor or do it yourself by spot selecting drill locations and injecting our self leveling, flexible adhesive.

We've received countless comments on Instagram saying this is a great system for subpar installers. And we agree. We would love nothing more than to never see a hollow floor again. This system was born out of my desperation to save my clients' floors and the headache of a full replacement and displacement from their house.

I contacted Stone Science after I tried every possible cleaning product on my shower for mold and mildew. I hired Bryan to fix my floor that was riddled with hollow tiles throughout my entire condo. I had grout cracking and a few broken tiles and was facing a full replacement after my condo hired a subpar company to install the floors. The company prolonged the warranty process for so long that i lost my ability to have it covered by the building. Instead of spending upwards of $100,000 to replace my floor, I had bryan fix it with his system. My floor took 120 gallons of adhesive so clearly my floor was a complete failure. It's been almost a year and i have had no more tiles pop up and the hollow sound is fixed. I purchased Stone Science Daily Neutral cleaner for our lobby marble floors. The cleaners kept using different products that would always leave etches. I'm very happy to report that the etching has stopped now that they have an all purpose cleaner that can be easily added to a mop bucket or spray bottle. I also love that it's a concentrate and takes up little storage.
